Whiplash review - Brilliant, Eccentric & Extraordinary.

Its the story about a student ; Andrew Neiman (Miles Teller) who aspires to be a great drummer & he's coached by Fletcher (J. K. Simmons). Fletcher goes way beyond to bring out the great in him. Do you need to sacrifice your life to be a Legend? Is there a price? How far would you go to train your student?

The direction is very powerful and bold. Each characters are brilliant. Miles Teller is extraordinary & gives a performance of his lifetime. J. K. Simmons gives a heart wrenching performance & is deadly and evil. The screenplay is very tight n crisp. The unexpectedness of it, the student -  professor relationship.. Its gripping & fascinating!  You are glued to the screen from the start till the end. It moves you, slaps you, makes you cry &  inspires you to be great. The music is great ..  It exciting, exhilarating & mesmerizing. The drumming background music throughout works great for the movie. The movie  is a visual treat; the cinematography is stunning. You are bound to praise each and every frame!

Inspiring, soulful, cruel & an exciting experience!

Go for it!! Its a Masterpiece...

NH10 Review - Kinda Kick-ass; but only for selected audiences!

The story is about their trip of Meera (Anushka Sharma) & Arjun (Neil Bhoopalam) (a married couple) to somewhere near gurgaon; which turns into a nightmare & brings out their dark side when they get involved eye-witnessing a couple murder !

Anushka Sharma's transformation is killer & fits the character perfectly! Neil bhoopalam is good & supports Anushka totally . The set up is ordinary & is interesting once it gets to the point. It has its moments when you are gripped to the edge, but it also has its downfalls & makes you feel like, wtf is this ! The writing could have been better & should've been more ass kicking & most of all, it lacks originality. The Music is not that appealing & kinda detaches you from the movie, seeming forced. Direction is bold & has that grasp on the viewers that keeps you engaged through 2 hours, which could've been mere 2 hours of ass kicking action.

Watch it if you have'nt watch 'Eden Lake' & want to see good acting performances. You won't be dissapointed at all !

(P.S - This review is mainly for people who have'nt watched 'Eden Lake' & opinions of those who have might be different!)
